LITTLE SPARTANS (3 TO 6YRS OLD) The little spartans program is a fun and interactive one hour class. The kids get to test their motor skills and play games to tune their agility and sharpen their focus. It is a great confidence builder for shy kids and a wonderful way to learn how to work together as a team and respect peoples boundaries. There is absolutely no striking involved in this course, there is self defense taught in it and of course lots of dynamic workouts to tire them out! The course runs ON WEDNESDAYS EVERY week AND SATURDAY MORNINGS.
KICKBOXING
The kickboxing program starts at the ages of 6 yrs old and goes to 12 yrs. Teenagers are grouped with either the younger class or along with the adult classes according to skill level and size. Kickboxing classes are offered twice a week on Mondays and Wednesdays. The program is run through a world class curriculum under the WKU and promotes fitness, hand eye coordination, confidence and great skills applicable to more than just fighting. Additional classes available through the VIP program.
BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU
The Brazilian Jiu Jitsu program is taught in a Gi (Uniform) and incorporates many traditional self defense techniques as well as the competition aspect of the sport. Age groups start at 3 to 5 yrs and 6 to 12, 12 to 16 and then the adult classes. The classes are taught twice a week one after the other, the kids class promotes great energy and respect, learn discipline and empower their motor skills. The adults classes are great for fitness and building body strength, all while having fun and learning great self-defense skills.
MMA, COMPETITIVE TEAM
The competition team is part of the VIP program and it gives the students more opportunity to train and learn from team trips and seminars. We have 2 world champion kickboxers who train full time at the academy and fighters in BJJ and MMA respectively. The MMA program is carefully tailored for both fitness and competition, we do our regular classes during the week to sharpen the individual skills and then apply them at the end of the week in MMA class.
